Isala starts using our dome

Various departments within Isala will be using the new Micro-Cosmos dome in the coming weeks. This makes Isala the second location to start using our dome. The test set-up will start at the braincare and neurology department, after which the departments of geriatrics, internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, occupational therapy and surgery will also participate. This gives us a broad picture of which patients benefit from the possibility of being able to isolate themselves from their environment and recover in a low stimulus environment. Here too, we collect data via questionnaires to get a better picture of the effect on patients and possible areas for improvement.

At the start today, nurses and the first patient to use the dome were very enthusiastic. A good start!
